The UK’s third largest scheduled airline has signed a distribution agreement with Sabre to offer travel agency partners access to its content.
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Sabre Corporation, a leading provider of software and technology for the global travel industry, and Jet2.com, the UK’s third largest scheduled airline, announced a multi-year distribution agreement giving Sabre-affiliated agencies long-term access to Jet2.com content through the Sabre GDS.
The new agreement provides Sabre-connected agencies with seamless access to Jet2.com’s award winning flights. Jet2.com has chosen Sabre at a key time, as the leading leisure airline has just launched its Summer Sun programme for 2025, with over 16 million seats on sale to 46 sunshine destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands from 11 UK airports. Jet2.com already has huge programmes on sale for Winter 23/24, Summer 24 and Winter 24/25 too, and is seeing strong demand across all seasons.
The new agreement demonstrates Sabre’s commitment to supporting Jet2.com’s ongoing growth in the leisure travel market, as part of a long-term distribution model that benefits all members of the travel value chain.
“Jet2.com’s ambitious goals and increased frequency and reach required a partner that would enable it to distribute its information globally, easily and efficiently,” said Alessandro Ciancimino,
VP Airline Distribution at Sabre. “We are delighted and honoured that Jet2.com has decided that we are an asset to its business objectives.”
