Palladium Hotel Group announces key milestones, expansion and growth plans
The hotel group aims to expand across destinations such as Mexico, the United States, the Middle East and Mediterranean enclaves.
MADRID – Palladium Hotel Group has announced a positive balance of 2023 at FITUR (International Tourism Fair) in Madrid, which has exceeded 1 billion euros in volume of managed business, reaching the amount of 1.69 million. This figure represents an increase of 16 percent over the previous year and confirms the sustainable growth of the company. Overall, the group has increased by 14 percent its REVPAR (revenue per available room), compared to 2022.
Abel Matutes Prats, president of Palladium Hotel Group stated, “Overcoming the 1 billion euros barrier in managed business volume strengthens our business model, in which growth accompanied by profitability and customer satisfaction as essential pillars, compose a win for the group.”
It should be noted that, in 2023, 98 percent of the group’s hotels placed above the industry average in terms of recommendation index and 75 percent above the direct compset in terms of online reputation on social networks. Also, its Palladium Rewards loyalty program continued to grow, adding more than 25,000 new members each month and contributing up to 70 percent of revenue per direct sales channel.

Key milestones of 2023, expansion and growth plans
The CEO of Palladium Hotel Group highlighted the renovation carried out at Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, in Riviera Maya; where the hotel premiered: Bravo Dinner & Dance, a new concept of entertainment, and Family Selection, the VIP service for families of the group, which, after this opening, has a total of 444 suites in three destinations across Mexico: Puerto Vallarta, Costa Mujeres and Riviera Maya.
In addition, Only YOU Hotel Sevilla will open this spring. The project will be a 5-star hotel, with 226 rooms and an important proposal of restoration and spaces for events, including a large outdoor area with a pool. This year, the group will also begin the restoration of the current Palladium Hotel Palmyra, owned by Grupo Empresas Matutes, located in the municipality of Sant Antoni in Ibiza, which, after an investment of 13 million euros, will become a new 5-star hotel, the first Only YOU Hotel in the area.
Internationally, Only YOU Hotels, will continue its international expansion with the opening of a 5-star property in Venice in 2025, which will be the first urban hotel of the group in Italy and the second property in management in the country for Palladium Hotel Group, which already has a resort in Sicily: Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa.
Furthermore, the group will begin a process of renovation at Grand Palladium Imbassaí Resort & Spa, Brazil. Finally, after the opening of 45 Times Square Hotel in New York, Palladium Hotel Group is looking at other US cities such as Miami, Los Angeles or Chicago; and other destinations in Mexico, the Middle East and the Mediterranean, where the group is studying opportunities for expansion related to the brands of its portfolio.
Palladium Cares celebrates the opening of the first training centers in America
Palladium Cares, the identity that encompasses all of the group’s projects in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, and that is articulated around 3 pillars – Our People, Our Community and Our Planet -, has made important advances with a strong emphasis on the “S” of Social.
The project “4 causes to take action”, which has developed in Europe and consists of four phases with projects focused on children, inequality, the planet and care for the elderly; has already registered 56 activities, in collaboration with 30 NGOs, that have involved more than 300 volunteers.
In addition, in the Americas, Palladium Cares has successfully launched the first local training centers in Jamaica, benefiting the local population. In Mexico, the group is working with the Origen Foundation to develop a curriculum adapted to the specific needs of local communities. The company’s goal is to reach up to 2,500 beneficiaries annually in Mexico and 600 in Jamaica.
Finally, in Brazil, Palladium Cares has inaugurated an Agricultural Production and Training Center in Curralinho, Bahia, whose main mission is to train the local community in the sustainable production of vegetables and agricultural products, seeking to promote the marketing of their products with hotels in the area.
In the field of Human Resources, the company has just received for the fourth consecutive year the Top Employer certification. In this same area, it is highlighting the Happy Trainee recognition, awarded by the certifying Choose My Company, which focuses on positioning as an attractive center for young talent. Both distinctions recognize the effort of Palladium Hotel Group to develop a working environment of excellence. While, in terms of training and attracting talent, it continues to consolidate different agreements with universities and prestigious entities such as Basque Culinary, Vatel, Le Rocuhe, Laussan or CSHGel, among others.
