Lau Su Kiean appointed Executive Chef of DAO at Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta

In his current role at Hotel Mousai, Chef Lau Su Kiean is eager to guide the team at DAO with the skills he has acquired during his career.

TAFER Hotels & Resorts announce that Chef Lau Su Kiean has been appointed to Executive Chef of DAO Contemporary Chinese restaurant at the luxurious, adults-only Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta. Growing up immersed in his mother’s Cantonese cuisine, Lau took his initial steps into the culinary world as a chef on an Asian cruise ship, gaining substantial expertise along the way. He then dedicated over six years working for the Hakkasan Group and assisted in the success of five pre-openings, prior to serving as an integral part of the launch of an elegant Chinese dining venue at the Grand Hyatt Kuwait.

Chef Lau is an avid traveler, having explored culinary hotspots worldwide including the Middle East, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Singapore, Indonesia, Shanghai, Maldives, Greece, Italy, North Africa and several other destinations. Notably, he had the honor of travelling to Morocco and cooking for the King in the Palace during his visit to Jordan.
